It has been activated the whole time. I tested it every so often to make sure it was still activated. So, it’s fairly certain at this point that it has a Lifetime Subscription. It has been stored in a cabinet ever since, unused by us. We already have another system. It is in excellent, nearly unblemished, unused condition. Dock still has protective plastic. It seems the person got, put it on the stereo, and left it alone. It was a bit dusty when I got it. But, once I wiped it off, I was amazed how clean and well cared for it was. I have read about this happening to other sellers. Therefore, I record the SID and take extensive photos to avoid a potentially fraudulent claim. The subscription may or may not outlast the radio. Take good care of this delicate electronic. The subscriptions for are not transferable! Please do not call or use the Sirius website to check on subscription status.
