YAMAHA RX-797 RECEIVER WAS USED FOR MY COMPUTER TO POWER 4 YAMAHAS BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS. SOUND IS FANTASTIC AND POWERFUL FROM THIS RECEIVER!! WORKS AND LOOKS GREAT! MAY BE A FEW SCUFFS PRESENT. ONE WEIRD THING IS GOING ON WITH THE TWO ORIGINAL REMOTES…. I NEVER USED THEM TO CONTROL THE UNIT AS IT WAS IN FRONT OF ME THE WHOLE TIME (STILL NEW WITH THE ORIGINAL BATTERIES)……. THEY DO NOT SEEM TO RESPOND TO THE UNIT? I REPLACED THE BATTERIES AND STILL NOTHING? I MISPLACED THE MANUAL TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP? ……. ONCE AGAIN THE REMOTES DO NOT RESPOND……………….
