I have owned many Sirius radios, and this receiever / home & car kit is my personal favorite… I hate to get rid of it, but unfortunately I need to. The Sporster receiever is in perfect working condition and beautiful cosmetic shape. I love this model specifically because it is practically a slim/sleek version of the SP2….. Which in my opinion the best model ever manufactured by Sirius. The receiver is in top-notch condition with very very little signs of previous use. The exterior body of the receiver is in near mint shape without any damage. The screen does not have any noticeable scratches and has a perfect backlight with working contrast and dimming functions. These Sportster units have always been one of the most popular models because of their sleek display and long lasting durability. I have taken great care of this one and purposely only use it on rare occasions keeping it in excellent condition. The screen might have a scuff or 2 if examine closely under bright light but definitely nothing noticeable. I owned many of these active “lifetime subscription” Sportsters and would only use each one for a short time to ensure a long never ending lifespan. My only advice to keep this receiver working forever is try to never leave it on longer than 3-4 hours at a time. I have stored this receiver inside of the included protective pouch and kept it in top notch condition. This receiver was very scarcely used and it definitely shows. What makes this listing so special more than anything is the complete what other accessories needed for home and vehicle use. Every item included in this listing has been tested and works perfect. I made sure each individual item has been claimed and free of dust or anything. The accessories included in the home / car kits really are in excellent condition. The car power adapter has some minor scale thing as does the home power adaptor but nothing major. There are some scuff marks on the docks, but very little. The remote control was only recently opened and used…. It includes a brand-new battery! With this Sportster SP4, you will never need to pay for any subscription! The active lifetime channels are on this Receiver only and cannot be transferred to any other. Any Sportster unit that has active channels will always work and update its channels for the life of the radio. These units are very versatile, quick to start, great reception and are very easy to use and navigate. You can bring and use this receiver nearly anywhere with its portable size.
