The Sporster receiever is in perfect working condition and beautiful cosmetic shape. The screen has an excellent working blue backlight. The back light has every button lit except with only a few buttons that aren’t perfect. In the last photo included you can see the exact working condition of the back light for every button…. Screen contrast and dimming functions work perfect. The backlight can manually be adjusted from low to the highest level of brightness without any problem. These Sporster units have always been one of the most popular models for over 10 years and receive amazing reception. Compared to current day models, this receiver receives nearly 10/10 service. I have taken great care of this one and purposely only use it on rare occasions keeping it in excellent condition. The screen has the normal scuff marks but they are all on unnoticeable when the unit is on. Any possible scuffs would have been caused during storage as this was kept indoors and did not travel. I used to own many of these Sportster Replay models making sure I never over use any two and short and long life time formeach. All in all this receiver was not used that much and it’s condition definitely shows…. Specially the working functionality of the blueback backlight. With this Sportster Replay you will never need to pay for any subscription! The active lifetime channels are on this Receiver only and cannot be transferred to any other. Any Sportster unit that has active channels will always work and update its channels for the life of the radio. Everything included in the listing is in perfect working condition. Included with the unit is a brand-new unopened Sportster Car Kit. This new old stock car kit is compatible with both the Sirius Replay SP-R2 and the SP-R1 receivers. This car kit is “case fresh” with a beautiful near mint package that is crystal clear without any damage. Even after all of the various models Sirius has manufactured, the Sportster Replay has always remained my personal favorite receiver. These units are very versatile, quick to start, great reception and are very easy to use and navigate. You can use this receiver in your vehicle with Car Kit, Home Kit or in a portable boombox. This receiver has the strong FM radio transmission that is getting extremely hard to find nowadays. This specific Sportster radio was manufactured before the FCC weakened the transmission power and has the FM channel “87.7″ as a frequency channel. Because of the strong FM transmission it really works amazing compared to other units. I have owned this specific receiver for many years, and I can guarantee you 100% active channels will work for how ever long this radio works for. Since I have not used this one for a while, when I inserted it into the boombox it did a complete channels update. Pretty much what I’m trying to say is this receivers subscription will never shut off, I have updated the channels numerous times, and have owned it since the beginning in or around 2005. You can take my word that for the life of this receiver it will ALWAYS actively have the standard Sirius channel lifetime subscription… Is really all you ever need!
