This Starmate ST4 Radio is in excellent condition all around. This receiver has had multiple channel updates and it is in perfect working active condition! As long as this receiver works like they all do, the channels will continue to update and will never randomly, GUARANTEED! Saved the best of them for last, out of the many lifetime active recievers I owned, this is one of the last I have for sale! Included with the receiver is a complete car kit and more. With this kit you can quickly and easily setup the receiver in your vehicle. All of the items included in the vehicle kids are in top-notch condition with very little to no signs of previous use. The kit includes an auxiliary wire which easily connects the radio to the auxiliary input in your vehicle. If you do not have an auxiliary wire up the receiver has an FM transmitter and also includes an FM extension wire. The transmitter is definitely not as good as the auxiliary wire but will work great if set up correctly. The Starmate receiever is in perfect working condition and good overall cosmetic shape. The receiver shows some minor wear and tear from previous use but nothing major. On a few different menu screen options (settings and such) you might see a pixel shadow but does not affect its use or channel display whatsoever. The screen looks and displays great and has a bright working blue backlight. Both the brightness and contrast settings are functional and can be adjusted if needed if your view / angle of receiver is ever moved. I just want to mention the picture showing the Howard stern channel looks somewhat pixilated but that’s only from camera and does not actually look or display pixelated or abnormal whatsoever. Just a quick word of advice…. I recommend to use the brightness at 80% or less. This is very important to me because it will increase life of light, pixels, and prevent it from heating up to an extreme all of which will in turn extend the lifespan of receiver. As long as you take care of the unit and do not abuse its functions, it could last a long long time. In the photos included you can see the exact working condition of the physical exterior body and also the screen itself. The reciever shows signs of previous use, but very little and definitely nothing major. The body has a small amount of wear/discoloration in the gold color around the corners/edges and buttons but again nothing very noticeable at all. The only area that shows signs of where is the bottom side edge cause simply from being docked. The picture seems like it darkened/ highlighted this area more than anything. To tell you the truth I didn’t even notice it until I was reviewing the photos taken. The wear on the bottom side edge can never be seen unless in a picture like that. The where is a combination of slight discoloration plus material from the dock. Any possible signs of wear/ previous use do not affect its functionslity or overall display. With this Starmate ST4 you will never need to pay for any subscription! The active lifetime channels are on this Receiver only and cannot be transferred to any other. The active channels Will work until this receiver is no longer in standard functional condition. There is no expiration with these units and like mentioned above as long as you take care of it could last forever! The radio has over 130 channels under the “Sirius Select” package. Of course the legendary Howard stern channels are included along with all Sirius commercial free music, and various news , talk and entertainment. Of course there are also numerous Sports channels including the NASCAR channel and many others which include various live-action games from the MLB, NBA, NFL! You can take my word that for the life of this receiver it will ALWAYS actively have the standard Sirius channel lifetime subscription… Which is really all you ever need! When it comes to lifetime subscription receiver with vehicle kit, you definitely will not find a more reliable bundle than this one. I can guarantee you will not be let down with this item.
