What really sets this listing apart from others is the CLEAN cosmetic shape of the all of the contents included. I have taken great care of this set and purposely only used it on rare occasions to keep everything intact. This specific radio has remained indoors and was never used with the included car kit. The exterior of the boombox really is in stunning cosmetic shape. Not only is it clean and free of dust, but it barely shows only minimal signs of wear. The receiver is in excellent condition with a bright blue backlight. Compared to most of these out there, Besides a couple of has some minor signs of previous use but nothing noticeable unless closely examined. The screen has just a few scuff marks but very lite. Any possible scuff marks on the SP-R2 are not noticeable when the unit is powered on and in use. What really makes this a great lifetime subscription receiver is the overall condition of the bright backlight. There is only one or two buttons not perfectly lit, but that is a very minor issue, and really is in top-notch condition overall. The vehicle kit included is in top-notch condition with most accessories included in rareley used condition. Literally, the only accessory that shows signs of previous years is the magnetic antenna…. Which is still in great shape. The FM whip antenna never been used and is a hard to find accessory which usually gets lost. In all honesty you could not ask for a better vehicle kit outside of original package. The Sportster boombox is in perfect working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. The radio has always been properly stored and is clean and free of dust. The battery compartment is 100% clean and free of any corrosion. The antenna connected to the radio is in perfect shape without any damage. The antenna has a 21′ long Cable extension and has been properly wrapped around the backside the correct way with just the right amount of slack left at the end. The antenna / wire are also in excellent clean cosmetic condition. The Sportster boombox is by far my favorite method to listen to satellite radio. Not only can you portably use the radio anywhere with batteries but you can also use it similar to a Home Kit. With The use of the Y adapter cable included in this listing, you can connect the boombox to your large home audio system. All you have to do is simply insert one in into the headphones input on the top and connect the red white RCA cables to your home stereo system. You would think this would cause some loss of sound quality but I assure you it does not. The radio has a separate volume which enables better sound and pretty much acts like a Preamp.
