This one will do everything a new one will do but you are likely to pay MUCH less! This comes with a power supply and an antenna adapter in the event you would like to use a coaxial antenna. That was my goal, but I just can’t do it where I now live. If you do an internet search for “Eton E1 XM manual”, you will find a complete PDF manual. If you go to site “radiojayallen” (dot com) you will find write-ups on a BUNCH of radios, including this one. Just scroll down along the left margin until you come to Eton E1. There you will find a super detailed review, comparing this radio with 3 others. Overall, I would say this radio came close (at least) to tying for FIRST in his review. Either way, he likes this one a LOT! If you are my ideal potential “customer” who already knows about this radio, you might be aware that it was manufactured with an “easy grip” coating over the entire cabinet. Over time, unfortunately, this coating tended to become gooey and sticky to the touch. MOST of that coating has been removed from this radio. Enough has been removed that it no longer feels sticky when you touch it, but there is still some of that coating left on the radio. To clean it up cosmetically, use Q tips and isopropyl alcohol. With a bit of effort, all of it could be removed. Otherwise, the cabinet and the LED plastic are in unscratched condition. The picture is of the actual radio you will receive. If you look closely, you might be able to see some traces of that coating – especially near the large tuning knob. This is a SERIOUS high end consumer grade radio! Make sure you read everything at “radiojayallen” for all the facts. A coaxial outdoor antenna would make this radio come alive beyond belief. If you are counting on being able to use this radio on Sirius XM, you might want to do some searches to see if you can still obtain the necessary antenna module which was NOT included at point of manufacture. At least one reviewer opined that the FM reception on this radio was “near CD quality”! It will be specific to your zip code from zip 54911.
