I only have the car dock but it will work in the car or home with the right antenna and power adapter. Includes receiver with car dock, you can get the home antenna, power adapter and audio cable for the home or car but not both, just let me know which. It is not a good idea to move these from the house to car a lot as you could start having problems with the connectors as they are pretty delicate. Includes a battery but it is used so no guarantee on the battery, may or may not hold a charge. I have had this for a few months, was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. It gets Howard Stern on channels 100 and 101. Nascar, NFL, rock, country, soul, jazz, blues, B. King, sports, news, Latino, comedy, christian, and many more channels between 1 and 184, about 145 total. Will not get any channels above 184 You cannot add any channels, update or transfer the subscription. You do not want to call Sirius or they could cancel the subscription. Just plug it in and start enjoying satellite radio. Used so shows some wear, nothing real bad. Take care of it and it should last a long time. I will guarantee the subscription to be active for the life of the radio. As long as you return the radio with matching radio SID and it can be read in the menu screen of the radio I will send you a replacement. Used with a bright display, may show a little wear but nothing bad. I got this used and have had it for about 6 months. Was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. Does NOT get Howard Stern on channels 100 and 101 , mostly news , Jazz , Pop , Christian , Country , Bluegrass , Comedy, Latino stations and many more music, sports and news channels, about 100 channels. Will only get channels between 1 and 184. I have owned a few hundred of these over the years and it has been my experience that the older receivers with this package have the Lifetime subscriptions. If you call Sirius and try they could cancel the subscription. You can get the home kit if you rather have that but not both. It’s not a good idea to move these from the house to car and back all the time. The connections are delicate and will cause problems later on if you do. I record the SID number stored in the receiver memory. If you have a problem and need to return it you will need to return the same receiver with the same SID number and all parts. The radio SID number must display in the memory, not what is on back of the receiver. All you need to do is hook it up and start enjoying Satellite radio. Take care of it and it should last a long time. I will guarantee the subscription to be good for the life of the radio. Any problems just return it and I will send you a replacement. If you only want the radio tuner and you make a offer please let me know.
