With the SL2 radio connected to the home kit, it quite possibly delivers the highest quality sound satellite radio has to offer! This radio comes with a complete home kit in like new condition. Most of the contents included and kitd have only been used for testing and are in mint shape. In my honest opinion, this lifetime activated Stiletto 2 with home kit is the best value you could find in a lifetime set. The Stiletto 2 is easily the most highly sought after Sirius satellite radio made. They are extremely hard to find in this condition, most out there are beaten up pretty bad. These radios receive amazing reception wether connected at home or using portably outside. The headphonesare in my opinion in assess city when using portably. The headphones contain an additional antenna within the wire/band giving the radio amazing reception. This really is the best radio Sirius ever made. The displaylist of channels only includes the channel logo design of a handful of older channels. They stopped manufacturing software updates for the SL2 years ago, so it will not add the artwork of new channels… Just thought I’d inform you in case you didn’t know. This radio bus 100% reliable and is guaranteed to remain activated and hassle free! Do not “Synch” it to a computer, or use the “schedule a recording” features. For some reason or another these features are known to be flawed causing glitches and deactivation to this model radio. There is no new available updates so it would be pointless to sync it to a computer anyways but I just wanted to inform about that issue. Make sure you always power the radio off after using it, even if you keep it on the home dock. It keeps the batteries lifespan up, and would prevent any weird radio glitches. Do not use the “Schedule a Recording”. You can turn on and use the “radio replays” which simply would be hours of content that is being listened to while using. The recording feature is known as a flawed software glitch and causing radios to deactivate for an unknown reason. I don’t see why anyone out there would want to use this feature anyways but I have to mention this just in case. Lifetime Activated “Sirius Select” Channel Package. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, NASCAR Channel, NHL Network, dozens of music channels and much much more. There is 140+ channels included, with the ability to add new channels that are compatible. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. White mentioned, this receiver has the ability to add new channels such as the recently added channel Volume #106 and the Garth Brooks channel #55. Volume is the music talk show and the new home of Eddie Trunks show with multiple new episodes every week. Important note, do not attempt to “update or Synch” the radio by connecting it to computer. By doing so it would most likely result in a loss of channel activation if a computer even allowed it to do so. Since the current channel lineup was never part of this software for the SL2, by connecting it to any of the out of date software it would be like setting the radio as if you just bought it. The display list of channels only includes the artwork / channel logo of the older original channels. Sirius Stiletto SL2 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in perfect working condition and beautiful cosmetic shape. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works like new. Included in radio is an excellent battery, it works like new. The unit powers without a problem and holds the charge for the normal amount of time. Just make sure you always shut off and do not put in “resting” mode. The radio is clean and shows only minimal previous I use. The exterior displays beautifully. The only mentionable imperfection is a few. Small hair cracks on the corner of the top edge. This happens with nearly every one of these radios, but does not affect it and is NOT noticeable at all. I tried to picture it in the 3rd to last photo but you can barely see it, if I did not mention it you probably would never even see it. The screen is in excellent condition with only a small amount of hairline scuffs. These scuff marks are only noticeable when closely examined under bright light. These were also quite hard to photograph but you can see them best in the second to last photo included. Sirius Stiletto 2 SL2 Home Kit. Included with the radio is a Stiletto 2 Home Kit in near mint condition. Until I photographed the kit for this listing, the dock still had its original factory plastic on it. The dock was only used for testing. All the other items in the home kit have never been used. This home kit is complete with the accessories needed to connect to your Home stereo system. The home kit also includes a brand-new auxiliary wire. This enables you to connect the receiver to either your large home stereo system or any other small size speaker with an auxiliary input. This kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever. With this receiver you will never need to pay for any subscription! Like mentioned, the lifetime activated channel package is only on this radio and cannot be transferred to any other unit. This radio is 100% guaranteed to never lose it’s activation.
