This SP-R2R includes 140+ channels opposed to the standard 128 channels the Sportster Replay model normally has. This unit include such channels as fox 24/7 News Ch. It has same the programming a Sportster 4 radio would have. Receiver has additional programming that most all original Sportster Replay’s did not have. This radio has the same number of channels as a Sportster 4 radio w/ Select Package. For example, this radio includes 11, 12, 13, 18, 31, 55 and the new 106. This receiver has been well taken care of and is in great overall condition. The unit is fully functional and with only minimal wear. The exterior has some minor wear from previous use. There is 140+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels if the Sirius Music Package ever does so. Unlike most of the strong FM Transmitter radios with had a maximum CPU of 128 channels… This one has added CPU. For example, two channels were just added, Volume 106 and Garth Brooks 55. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. The channels will remain active and continue to update. Included is a brand new home kit with all the accessories needed to your home stereo system. The packaging has a small amount of wear but nothing major. The plastic has a tear on one of the bottom corners but nothing that opens it up. The kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever. The kit includes a “direct connection” Auxilary wire which is the only method of connection I would use…. Although this radio does have the strong wireless FM Transmitter! Sportster Replay SP-R2R Radio Notes / Condition. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works just perfect. This receiver has a full lifespan ahead of itself. It works flawlessly and displays beautifully. I have cleaned the radio and it really looks great. This Sportster Replay includes the strong FM transmitter AND has the ability to include over 140+ channels opposed to the standard 128 channels most of the Replay radios have. The front screen in good condition with some minor wear on screen but nothing very noticeable… Especially when powered on and in use. The exterior shell is in good shape with the normal signs of previous use. The black shell has some scuffs but mainly around the edges where it would have been put on or off the dock. Compared to most of these original SP-R2 radios, this one is in excellent condition. Most specifically because of the screens light. The receivers backlight is in functional working condition… With every button properly lit. Both the dimming and contrast settings are fully functional and it just displays beautifully. This receiver has a bright and vibrant blue colored screen. The receivers RC is a very useful accessory and can control all of the functions of radio. The most convenient feature is the ability to quickly scan your preset channels having just the touch of one button. Once the preset stations are saved, all you have to do is press that digit each channel was saved to. For example, if I want to change to preset #1 Ch. 100 Have oward Stern I would simply press the number 1 for an instant channel change. If you are looking for an original SP-R2 radio, this one will not let you down. Like mentioned, the lifetime activated channel package is only on this radio and cannot be transferred to any other unit. Please refer to the pictures for the exact items and condition.
