This Sportster Relay includes 140+ channels opposed to the standard 128 channels the Sportster Replay model normally has. This unit include such channels as fox 24/7 News Ch. It has same the programming a Sportster 4 radio would have. Receiver has additional programming that most all original Sportster Replay’s did not have. This radio has the same number of channels as a Sportster 4 radio w/ Select Package. For example, this radio includes 11, 12, 13, 18, 31, 55 and the new 106. This receiver has been well taken care of and is in great overall condition. The unit is fully functional and with only minimal wear. The exterior has some minor wear from previous use. This SP-R2 radio has a minor Imperfection with LCD screen. After using for a long period, the pixelation above the text can just slightly fade. This is usually not even mentionable since most of them do it but I just want to describe the radio as accurate as possible. It does not affect the audio or overall performance whatsoever. The screens light is fully functional with each button properly lit. Unlike most of the strong FM Transmitter radios with had a maximum CPU of 128 channels… This one has added CPU. For example, two channels were just added, Volume 106 and Garth Brooks 55. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. The channels will remain active and continue to update. Sportster Replay SP-R2R Radio Notes / Condition. All of the functions have been properly tested, this is a high-quality radio. This receiver has a full lifespan ahead of itself. It works great and displays beautifully. I have cleaned/sterilized the radio and it really looks great. This Sportster includes over 140+ channels opposed to the standard 128 channels most of the Replay radios have. The front screen in good condition with only a few minor scuffs but nothing very noticeable… Especially when powered on and in use. The receivers backlight is in functional working condition… With every button properly lit. After using for a long period, the pixelation above the text can just slightly show “fade” This is not even mentionable since most of them do it but I just want to describe the radio as accurate as possible. You can actually view this imperfection in the second to last two photos. That is after three hours of use! I recommend using the radio with a mid level lighting setting for screen. It is always best to keep the screen light low. By keeping screen level low it helps preventing the pixelation issue. Also, when the radio is docked make sure to not miss handle radio by moving it around/left & right. Also prevent the antenna wire from moving around where it is connected. I recommend purchasing a remote control… Included is a brand new home kit with all the accessories needed to your home stereo system. The Packaging is for the Streamer Replay which is the same radio with same compatibility contents. The packaging has a small amount of wear but nothing major. The plastic has a tear on one of the bottom corners but nothing that opens it up. The kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever. The kit includes a “direct connection” RCA Adaptor Wire. Direct connection is the only method of I would use. If you are looking for an original SP-R2 radio, this one will not let you down.
