Because this is the original model the CPU is limited to a total 128 channels on the lifetime package, but that is also a benefit and prevent it from ever being messed with during future updates. If any of the 128 channels change over time, the radio will update with compatible channels when available. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. For evidence/proof like a lot of people ask for all I have is my reputation but it serves me well. Sportster SP-R1R Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in fully functional working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. The front side looks great, and shows only very minimal signs of previous use. Besides a couple of hairline scuff marks there is nothing to complain about, when it is powered on and in use it looks perfect. The strong FM wireless transmitter works great when position correctly, stronger than any other model I have ever owned. The boombox is in perfect working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. All the functions have been tested, it works perfect and sounds great. The battery compartment is completely clean and free of any dust or corrosion. The radio has been properly cleaned / sterilized and is dust free. When it comes to lifetime subscription receiver there is nothing better to pair with that then the boombox. Not only can you use the radio portably as a boombox but also as a “Home Kit”, and connect it to any audio device / speakers of your choice. “Stereo RCA cable” which connects the boombox to any home stereo unit.
