The unit has a built in internal FM antenna but you also have option to us an exterior antenna. The internal antenna works much better than any other radio I own. Besides a few minor/unnoticeable wear on the edges/corners there really is nothing negative to mention. There is a lite scratch on the left side but nothing major.
