Although this radio starts with FM channel 88.1, it is the strong FM transmitter but I always recommend a direct connection. The radio is in CLEAN condition. I have cleaned and sterilized everything included for your convenience. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works perfect. Besides some minor/unnoticeable scuffing on front screen there are no imperfections to mention. Any possible scuff marks cannot be seen when the radio is powered up and in use. This unit really is a treasure. At this asking price you really cannot ask for a better price on a complete & RELIABLE lifetime activated radio set.
