XACT BOOMBOX AND LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION. The receiver is used and in excellent cosmetic condition. No scratches on the screen, and fully functional as it should be. Backlight is nice and bright. The XACT boombox is in excellent condition as well. Power Supply and Antenna included. The battery compartments are super clean. Using batteries makes the unit totally portable and great for camping, the beach, tailgating etc… There is some rattling in one of the speakers NOT an issue with the speaker or quality of music….. When you pick the unit up and move it you hear it… It’s part of the pivot mechanism that attaches the speaker to the main radio unit that must have some broken plastic pieces inside. The unit still functions 100% and sits just fine with the speakers aimed straight and the radio portion aimed slightly up. Lifetime subscriptions can also have up to 3 hardware transfers so the lifetime subscription can be transferred to a different or newer style of radio if ever necessary. (sometimes called Lifetime Activation) refers to this. Sirius sends out’turn-off’ signals when subscriptions end around 6-10 times per day for the first several months, 2-3 times per day for the next several months after that, 1-2 times per week for the next several months after that, and then a couple of times randomly for around a full year thereafter… Assuming by then the receiver would have been switched on and playing somewhere during that time and would have received the’turn-off’ signal. If the receiver has been turned off during all of that time and never received the’turn-off’ signal, chances are very good that the receiver will work forever after.
