However, the subscription is non-transferable and is limited to the original owner and is for the life of the radio only. Therefore, do not contact Sirius XM radio to try to transfer it in your name, as they may try to disconnect the service. The plug-in receivers were engineered for the best possible satellite radio sound and have much better sound than the newer 5 volt dock and play radios. And the Kenwood was specifically designed to have the best sound of the receivers made during that time period. This one is currently receiving about 115 channels of a wide variety of music, news, sports, comedy, talk, etc. Please note that it does NOT receive Howard Stern’s channels, (100 and 101). The channel range is from 2 through 174 plus the preview channel 184. The channels received tend to change slightly when there is a Sirius update. Right now it receives the following channels: 2-10, 12-17, 19-39, 42-43, 47-76, 78-85, 88, 90-91, 95-96, 78-85, 88, 90-91, 95-96, 105, 110-112, 114-120, 122, 124-132, 146-148, 156, 157, 162, 163, 166, 169, 170, 173, 174, 184. A total of 115 channels by my count. The unit is in excellent condition with a bright clear display screen. The screen may look a bit blurry in the photos because it was scrolling, but there is no problem with it. It includes a new Sirius antenna, AC cord and remote with batteries only. All you need is an audio cable to connect to your stereo, Bluetooth speaker with auxiliary input, or powered speaker. It has standard RCA phono line level outputs and an optical digital output (toslink) which I have not tested.
