Activated Sirius SP5 Sportster Satellite Radio Receiver with dock
Please read entire listing. The receiver comes with an SDPIV1 dock. Nothing else is included. I’ve had this receiver for at least 8 months but haven’t used it recently. I had used it for about 2 months and liked it very much. It’s currently active. It’s not a free preview or trial either. The receiver gets most channels from 2-184, except : 79, 86-87, 107, 123, 139-140, 144, 149-151, 155, 159-161, 164, 175-183. It also gets some channels from 204-219, but not that many in the 200′s. This unit currently gets more channels than the other receivers I’ve recently listed. The SP5 is a nice model with plenty of features, please review the manual on the Sirius website. The unit is in decent physical condition. There are some scratches on the screen. The photos look bad due to the camera flash. I have no idea how long it will stay active. I tested it today for about a half hour and it remained active and did an update. It may stay active for 5 minutes, days, months, years I simply don’t know. Assume you will need to add a subscription. If it stays active for some time, you got lucky. Also, should it remain active, don’t call Sirius to transfer the service or to inquire about the service, they’ll likely cut it off. Also don’t perform a factory reset. Activated Sirius S50 Stiletto Satellite Radio Receiver and dock + many Extras
The receiver also comes with many extras such as. New remote (no battery). New AC adapter for the home dock. New aux out cable. New aux out to white / red RCA jack audio cable. I don’t have a vehicle cigarette power cable. I’ve had this receiver for about 8 months. It’s currently active. I used it a few months back but not recently. It receives most channels up to # 184. The following channels are not received: 11, 77, 79, 86-87, 92-94, 98, 102-104, 106-107, 113, 121, 123, 133-145, 149-155, 159-161, 164-165, 167-168, 171, 172, 175 – 183. The unit is in decent physical condition with a few minor scratches and one deeper scratch on the screen. I have no idea how long it will stay active. I tested it today for about 20 minutes to take the photos and it remained active. It may stay active for 5 minutes, days, months, I simply don’t know. I believe a firmware update is needed to make it work in an executive dock, but the firmware update is not available on the internet any longer. Also I don’t believe the software supports the S50 any longer, it requires a very old Windows version. It’s best not to use an executive dock and not to try to connect it to a computer using the software. At the start of testing it did the normal channel update, then it did a subscription update. It continued to receive all the channels after the subscription update. Assume you will need to add a subscription at some time. If it stays active, you got lucky. Should it stay active, don’t call Sirius to transfer the service, they’ll likely cut it off. Also don’t do a factory reset.
