Please read entire description I got this used and have had it for about 1 year, had a active subscription when I got it, recently did a subscription update and is still active. Could have the Lifetime subscription. Gets music , sports , news , comedy , Howard Stern , NFL , Nascar , Christian and much more. About 145 channels between 1 and 184, will not get any channels above 184. Radio is used so may show a little wear, nothing real bad. If you want to use it in the home let me know and I will send the home power adapter and a audio cable so you can play it through your home stereo. Will not send the car kit and home kit, the one of your choice. You can also use ear buds or powered computer speakers. I have some radios that do not get Howard Stern so if you are not a big fan let me know which channels you are interested in and I will see what I have. It’s not a good idea to move these from the house to car and back all the time. The connections are delicate and will cause problems later on if you do. All you need to do is hook it up and start enjoying Satellite radio. Take care of it and it should last a long time. I never know if they work or have a active subscription when I get them. I do not have the user ID and password so you cannot call Sirius and ask if the radio is a lifetime, they will cancel the subscription. Will only get channels between 1 and 184. If you call Sirius and try they could cancel the subscription. You can get the home kit if you rather have that but not both. It’s not a good idea to move these from the house to car and back all the time. The connections are delicate and will cause problems later on if you do. I record the SID number stored in the receiver memory. If you have a problem and need to return it you will need to return the same receiver with the same SID number. The radio SID number must display in the memory, not what is on back of the receiver. All you need to do is hook it up and start enjoying Satellite radio.
