The Starmate appears to have the lifetime subscription activated. Lifetime of the radio unit. I was able to turn on and listen to a variety of stations during testing and all worked without issue. If this unit does indeed have the lifetime subscription, DO NOT CONTACT SIRIUS/XM TO ADD TO YOUR ACCOUNT. Doing so will deactivate the radio. The lifetime subscriptions are NOT TRANSFERABLE. This will make an excellent addition to your vintage A/V equipment collection.
