I really don’t see any reason why the sx would stop at this point. It has been through many of those “channel updates” or “subscription updates” and just kept on working. I also understand that contacting Sirius/XM about transferring or anything else, will get the subscription deactivated. However, these units acquired on the “gray” market are not eligible and if you bring it to the Sirius XM company’s attention it may actually be shut down. Another huge hint that it is in fact a Lifetime device is if the channel lineup does NOT match any of the current subscription packages available. In my observation, this unit meets that criteria. I observed it to receive the following channels. 002-085, 088, 090-091, 093-103, 105-106, 108-122, 124-138, 141-143, 145-148, 152-154, 156-158, 162-163, 165-174, 184. The genres are: Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B, Dance / Electronic, Country, Jazz/Standard/Classical, Family, Sports, Comedy, Entertainment, News/Politics, More, Traffic, and More Sports. Of note: This includes the 2 Howard Stern stations. This excludes most live sports with the exception of the times when they supersede regular programming on channels not dedicated to live sports. I noticed this happens with MLB Baseball quite often. However, this is NOT the “All Access” package that they currently sell, and so that is what I referred to as adding credulity to the assertions made herein.
