Strong Wireless FM Transmitter – This has the Strong Wireless FM Transmitter. The wireless transmitter starts at FM channel 87.7. This only imperfection worth mentioning is the very dim backlight. Although the screen light is a low color blue, all the chanel text/ info is still clearly legible. Unfortunately this was a manufacturing imperfection Although the color blue is very dim it will not fade away. Some of the buttons have to be pushed in very firm and direct but all work. For example the buttons on edge such as the power button , digit #1 and digit #0 have to be pressed a forward dead center in rubber button all the way forward. With this radio you would really be pressing the buttons manually, normally you would pre-said your favorite stations and swap through them using the remote control included. It was used indoors only w/ Home Dock. It is in very clean condition, with only very minor wear. There is 128 channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels when updates occur. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. Recently, channel 18 has become The Beatles Channel, all Beatles all the time! Sportster Replay SP-R2 Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in great condition all around. Not only does it work perfect but the cosmetic shape displays beautifully with only very l minor wear from previous use. This radio has the Pre-FCC wireless FM transmitter. There are only a couple of minor scuff marks here and there but nothing major. Any signs of wear is unnoticeable especially when in use. The sticker on the backside had to be taped on the top side…. This is where my OCD makes me do stupid things! Table is not necessary but it was slightly coming off and I wanted to ensure it stayed on. Some of the digit buttons on the bottom have to be firmly pressed directly in middle. If you just lightly press for example but number one nothing will happen but they all work fine you just need to press the button dead center in all the way for the first couple buttons. This unit really is a treasure. It is getting harder and harder to find reliable radios in good condition like this one. Included with the Sportster radio receiver is a complete set of home kit accessories. These accessories are specific to this radio model. The entire set is in top-notch used condition and is well organized. Everything is clean and dust free condition. This set includes all the accessories needed to connect to your home stereo system. It is very simple and easy to setup, you will have the entire set connected in less than 10 minuntes. It does not need professional installation whatsoever. The radio does have the strong wireless FM transmitter but I normally only recommend direct connection for best quality use. This kit includes the RCA adapter cable for direct connection. The set also includes a Remote Control. This remote includes a new battery installed. It is of course fully tested and working. This can control all functions of radio and is the most convenient accessory…. Definitely a must-have item when using the Sportster Replay for home kit use!
