This SP-R2 includes over 140 channels opposed to the standard 128 channels the Sportster Replay model normally has. This radio DOES include all the Fox News, incident 115 Headline 24/7 News, channels 10-14, the new Beatles Channel etc. It has same the programming a Sportster 4 model radio would normally have. This radio is in excellent condition all around. This radio was very rarely used and was only played indoors and has never traveled. This durable model is in clean shape with very minimal signs of previous use. Besides a scratch on the front / top side edging, there are no other imperfections to mention. The unit is has been CLEANED & TESTED. It has performed multiple channel updates. The screen has a perfect working backlight with both the contrast and dimming settings. The blue light on buttons are dim but that is exactly how this specific model was manufactured. This unit really is a treasure. The receiver is in perfect working condition and stunning cosmetic shape. The exterior displays beautifully with only the slightest wear. This Radio has the later production screen color/light. This radio has a navy blue color screen which is not as bright and vibrant as the original but in a good way! Sirius revised the final production set of the SP-R2bscreen to prevent the display light from going out. It looks and displays excellent and is very easy to read. All of the buttons do you have blue light but are very dim in normal lighting but ma there. In dim lighting or with the lights out you can see it clearly… This is because of the style of thick rubber buttons. This is not necessarily a flaw, all of the radios manufactured during this specific Sportster Replay production came this way. This radio has the “post-FCC” wireless FM transmitter. Not only does it work great but is in ANAZING cosmetic shape with only a few minor signs of previous use. There might be a few minor scuff marks on screen/exterior but nothing noticeable unless closely examined under a bright light. The radio is competley clean and free of any dust. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works like new. It is getting harder and harder to find these SP-R2 model radios in this good of condition.
