There are a few minor scuff marks on screen but nothing noticeable unless closely examined under a bright light. When it is powered up and in use you cannot view any imperfections. The display light on screen is in fully functional condition with a bright and vibrant display. The blue light on buttons is dim especially when used in daylight but screen displays great. The radio is has always been clean, but like all my items I have cleaned and sterilized all the components included for your convenience. This receiver has a full lifespan ahead of itself. It works great and displays beautifully. I have cleaned/sterilized the radio and it really looks great. This Sportster includes over 140+ channels opposed to the standard 128 channels most of the Replay radios have. The front screen in good condition with only a few minor scuffs but nothing very noticeable… Especially when powered on and in use. The receivers backlight is in functional working condition… With every button properly lit. The dock is fully assembled to the mount which attaches to the interior of your windshield with the use of an easy to use suction cup mechanism. Included is a near mint compatible remote control. The remote was only lightly used and has only minor wear caused during storage. It is in near mint / clean condition. A remote is the most convenient accessory, no matter used in vehicle of home. As opposed to pressing digits on small radio, all you do is press n hold a digit (0-9) to create a preset channel. With this you only have to simply press a number on the remote for quick and direct channel change without having to press multiple buttons on the remote or receiver. Helpful Tips / Notes. Always carefully insert both the antenna and power adaptor. If those items are forced into the radio, you could cause future damage. Always insert the antenna very firm and direct. Make sure when the antenna is inserted you give the wire some slack… Make sure the wire has enough slack to keep it straight for about 5 inches. This prevents the antenna from moving around, is caused the signal to go up and down. If the signal is ever going up and down, simply make sure the antenna is not being forced in anyway. Always carefully insert both the antenna and power adaptor. If those items are forced into the radio, you could cause future damage. Always insert the antenna very firm and direct. Make sure when the antenna is inserted you give the wire some slack… Make sure the wire has enough slack to keep it straight for about 5 inches. This prevents the antenna from moving around, is caused the signal to go up and down. If the signal is ever going up and down, simply make sure the antenna is not being forced in anyway.
