What really sets this listing apart from others is the clean condition and organized complete set of contents. I have taken great care of this set and purposely only used it on rare occasions to keep everything intact. This specific radio has remained indoors and was never used with the included car kit. The exterior of the boombox really is in stunning cosmetic shape. Not only is it clean and free of dust, but it barely shows only minimal signs of wear. Sportster Replay SP-R2 Receiver Condition. The receiver is in excellent condition all around. Not only does it work like new, it is in amazing cosmetic condition. The unit has a perfect “backlight” with fully functional contrast and brightness settings. The screen has a bright and vibrant blue light and does not have any pixelation problems whatsoever. Compared to most of these out there, this really is at the top of the chain! There might be a couple of has some minor scuffs on screen but absolutely nothing noticeable unless closely examined. The entire unit has only a few scuff marks anywhere. Any possible scuff marks on the SP-R2 are not noticeable when the unit is powered on and in use. The vehicle kit included is in complete condition with every accessory needed for vehicle use. Nearly all the accessories are in clean never used condition…. Most just used to test with. In all honesty you could not ask for a better vehicle kit outside of original package. The Sportster boombox is in perfect working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. The Booombox has always been properly stored inside Orignal box and is clean and free of dust. The boombox is in great overall cosmetic shape with only minor signs of wear. On the two speaker grills are a few small and hardly noticeable circles of discoloration. They are the color of rust but I cannot tell… The rest of the stereo has no signs of wear, just this area which could have been caused from condensation. The original box is included with this listing but does not have the interior Styrofoam pieces. The box shows some storage where but nothing major. The battery compartment is 100% clean and free of any corrosion. The antenna connected to the radio is in perfect shape without any damage. The antenna has a 21′ long Cable extension and has been properly wrapped around the backside with just the right amount of slack for insertion. The Sportster boombox is by far my favorite method to listen to satellite radio. Not only can you portably use the radio anywhere with batteries but you can also use it similar to a Home Kit. With The use of the Y adapter cable included in this listing, you can connect the boombox to your large home audio system. All you have to do is simply insert one in into the headphones input on the top and connect the red white RCA cables to your home stereo system. You would think this would cause some loss of sound quality but I assure you it does not. The radio has a separate volume which enables better sound and pretty much acts like a Preamp. Also included is the original Sportster remote control… Which is perfect for vehicle use. This remote is in near mint condition with a brand-new battery installed. You would probably think a remote control would not work well in a vehicle, but you would be surprised how much easier it is to change a channel with remote as opposed to reaching to any radio. All you do is preselect your favorite stations and then when you want to change to a specific favorite, simply press that number on the remote.
