At this point in time, the portable radio models continue to grow and demand and are getting harder to find. The radio is equipped with a brand new Slim Battery, that was just opened for this listing. If you intend on using this portably with headphones often, I recommend purchasing a 2nd back up battery. The slim batteries last around 90 minutes during peak performance but vary. Keep in mind it is very helpful to set brightness on a low setting to decrease battery intake. In my opinion these Stiletto 100 is the best portable Sirius radio. The SL2 is very fragile, the rubber material smudges and the software has glitches. This SL100 is lightweight but very durable and has a much longer life expectancy then the Stiletto 2. You can use these for many hours and always keep it in good shape unlike the SL2. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, various sports, FOX & CNN channels, dozens of music stations and much more. There is 140+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels if the SiriusXM Music Package ever does so. For example, two channels were just added, Volume 106 and Garth Brooks 55. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. The channels are guaranteed to remain active and will never end, GUARANTEED. Sirius Stiletto SL100 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in perfect working condition and beautiful cosmetic shape. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works like new. Included in radio is an excellent battery, it works like new. The unit powers without a problem and holds the charge for the normal amount of time. Just make sure you always shut off and do not put in “resting” mode. The radio is in excellent cosmetic shape with only the normal signs of previous use. Here are the imperfections I can find to mention. The plastic on top left side edge has some wear caused during storage, but no cracks or anything major. There is an a spec of dust in the interior to bottom left of screen. The front has only a few minor scuffs, most notably to the sides next to Sirius logo. The backside has a small scratch above the battery, to the right of clip. Sirius Stiletto “Altec Lansing” Headphones. This pair of headphones is in perfect working condition and great cosmetic shape. The “Altec Lansing” model receives amazing reception and provides comfort and stability. These come from a smoke free home and are were cleaned / sterilized. This set was rarely used, only used a small handful of time. There is some minor scuffs on the exterior, but nearly all would have been caused during storage and not use. The wire has always been appropriately wrapped like it came from the factory to prevent any internal wiring damage. They were just like they’re supposed to. You cannot compare the older antenna headphones to these….. I would guess this pair receives 3.5X better reception than the original model. Sirius Stiletto 100 Vehicle Kit. Included with the radio is a complete vehicle Kit. The vehicle kit is complete with the accessories needed to connect to your vehicles stereo system. All of the accessories included are in great overall condition and work perfect…. Half of the items included were never use other than a quick testing. The vehicle Dock is the only accessory showing any previous use, but still nothing major at all. Each item is very clean and organized, no mess of wires here. This kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever. Here is a few tips to ensure your radio lasts a lifetime. Here are a few things to AVOID causing any software or activation problems. These are well known problems for these radios… In so many words do not record and don’t attempt any type of software update. Do Not connect the radio to a computer for any reason. Sirius stop creating software updates years ago and would be arbitrary in the current day. Besides a small handful with logo, the others simply have channel name in text. DO NOT press Erase Settings / Library. This is the factory reset button and could. Do not use the “Schedule a Recording”. You can turn on and use the “radio replays” which simply would be hours of content that is being listened to while using. With this receiver you will never need to pay for any subscription! Like mentioned, the lifetime activated channel package is only on this radio and cannot be transferred to any other unit. I can guarantee you will not be let down with this set.
