Here are a few things to AVOID causing any software or activation problems. These are well known problems for these radios… In so many words keep the settings in their current state, don’t attempt to connect to computer Do Not connect the radio to a computer for any reason. Sirius stop creating software updates years ago and would be arbitrary in the current day. Besides a small handful with logo, the others simply have channel name in text. DO NOT press Erase Settings / Library. This is the factory reset button and could. Do not use the “Schedule a Recording”. By using this schedule a recording feature could cause a glitch which could deactivate the active channels. This is a glitch that has existed since 2014 when they updated the system software and has been known to deactivate active channels… It would be very rare for search to repair but the glitch is known to exist. You can turn on and use the “radio replays” which simply would be hours of content that is being listened to while using. You are not purchasing any type of account of lifetime subscription where you could use the radios ID number to create any Internet account. You cannot transfer the activation to any other receiver. “Lifetime Subscription” is Continuous active channels on this specific receiver until the reciever dies (if it ever does).
