However, there are some steps that might help keep it working, such as not calling Sirius or trying to transfer it, they will just switch it off. Activated Sirius satellite radio Sportster SP-R2R with cradle and power supply
A couple of weeks ago, I attended a moving sale where the homeowner had a Sirius radio for sale. All she could tell me was that the radio worked. I have a small Sirius radio that fits in a cubby on my dash, so I unhooked the antennae and plugged it into the Sportster. The Sportster turned right on. I used the Sportster in my car for a week and listened to the Howard Stern channel almost the entire time. I don’t know how long the radio is activated for, but it worked for me on Sunday when I removed it from my car. I think the audio has a better, deeper sound than my little Sirius radio, but It’s just too big for where I need to mount it in my car. The radio comes with a cradle, suction cup mount, and cigarette lighter power supply. There’s no antenna so you will need to provide your own.
