Cosmetically it has some minor wear but nothing. Because you will be using this radio inside the boombox, most all of its cosmetic imperfections will not even be visible. The screen only has a scuff or two and you can hardly see that. Xact Stream Jockey Boombox Notes. The boombox is in excellent overall condition with only a minor amount of wear. The boombox is fully functional, both the satellite radio feature and cd player work perfect. Most importantly the CD player is completely clean and free of any dust. This unit has been in storage for many years but was properly stored and well taken care of. I have cleaned and sterilized the exterior to the best of my ability Although there might be a few spots that are hard to reach to clean but there is nothing to worry about. Great condition all around. Any possible signs of wear wouldve been caused during storage but this one was manufactured for its durability and longevity. All the important components are completely protected from its thick body. This was manufactured during the early pioneering days of satellite radio. The first 3-4 of Sirius are my personal favorite; the receivers were manufactured of much higher quality, each Radio had a different theme or feature, and much more. The only important Tip / Instructions. If you had not had an previous experience with these, its important to understand the antenna wire needs to be properly attached / installed on the boom box. This quick detail below will be very helpful and beneficial. The most important aspect of connecting the antenna properly is too and sure the antenna wire has a good 2 inches of available slack coming from the connection point without the wire having any pressure tugging it in anyway. As long as you have it connected properly with the above instructions you will obtain satellite signal without any issue. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, various sports, FOX & CNN channels, dozens of music stations and much more. There is 125+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels when updates occur. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works perfect. The screen only has a very minor scuff or two but nothing noticeable. The pictures do not give this radio justice. The magnified photographs are displaying the cosmetic blemishes you would never otherwise notice. With this radio receiver is powered on and in use, none of the wear stand out. This radio has the Pre-FCC wireless FM transmitter. Although this radio starts with FM channel 88.1, it is the strong FM transmitter but I always recommend a direct connection like the boombox it is already connected to.
