This one displays beautifully; The frontside screen has only a few unnoticeable scuffs. The SP4 has ONLY been used indoors and never traveled. Up for sale is an excellent deal of a lifetime activated SP4 set. Like mentioned above, this Sportster 4 has a screen imperfection and the TEXT does not appear on screen. All channel information does not display and remains blank without any text. Although the text does not work, the blue background light works perfect and shines beautifully. I recommend this specific radio to a previous listener of satellite radio. If you are already a veteran of satellite radio, this should be no big issue to function. All of the radios other functions work properly. The SP4 is one of the best Sirius models with lifetime channel activation and a complete home kit. With this listing you will be able to easily and quickly start your Sirius radio experience. Preloaded on the Sirius Sportster 4 radio is a “Lifetime Subscription” of ths Sirius Select Package which includes 140+ channels. The lifetime activated channels can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. Using the preset channels buttons and knob it can be very easy to switch through channels. By setting your favorite channels throughout the presets make it very easy. It is also very easy to directly tune channel numbers. For example if you wanted to turn into channel 113 all you would have to do is press enter (press the knob) followed by the digits 1-1-3. I have personally used this radio for nearly 2 years. It has conveniently worked for me in the car and at home. It is very easy to use in the vehicle, again when specifically listening to preset channels. I always have Howard Stern preset on #1 and Fox News saved on the last digit #0. Then, for music I have 3-4 music channels I primarily listen to. I have those channels saved on presets number 2, 3, 4. This way it is very easy for me to hit Howard Stern on one end with FOX News on the other. By saving the music on 2-4 I can easily switch to one right after the other. Again I recommend this more to a previous listener who already knows the Sirius channel lineup or even just their favorite channels. I say this with all honesty; you cannot ask for a better value than this one. Even though this radio does have imperfection and does not display anything on the screen, this is one of the best deals you could ask for. As you can see from the pictures the exterior body of the radio is in mint pristine condition. It looks and displays beautifully with the vibrant blue screen lighting.
