Radio receiver is currently activated. Don’t know if it’s for lifetime. I tune it once in a while. Catches commercial free music, sports channels, news channels, religion, Hip-Hop, comedy, country, rock, etc Whatever you do, do not call Sirius to change subscription on your name or with any other inquires, doing so will surely cancel the subscription and then you will get zero channels. Boombox also works on battery power, (not included in this sale). Battery compartment and battery cover is located on bottom of boombox. Battery cover is missing a holding tab but the remaining two holding tabs holds the eight size D batteries without problems.
