Sirius Sportster 4 Satellite Radio Bundle Activated LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION

OK, here is what I know. This radio was given to me as a gift many, many years ago. I think it was roughly 7-8 years ago (maybe more). I used this radio for a couple weeks and realized it was kind of a pain to always keep the cables in my car and ended up taking it out of my car and storing it in a drawer in my desk. It has sit there all this time until 3 days ago. After it powered up, it did a percentage count up for “Updating Device” all the way to 100%. To my surprise, after it updated, I still had over 170 channels that it would tune to. Anyways, the last 3 days I have listened to Howard Stern, comedy channels galore (dirty ones come in), sports channels out the ying-yang and my favorites, 70′s on 7, 80′s on 8 and 90′s on 9. Once I started to investigate things online, that doesn’t seem to be the case and apparently this model sometimes doesn’t erase the subscription after it expires. I HAVE NO CLUE REALLY but I would like some information about it. I don’t know if it will stop working tomorrow, next week or never!!! The main receiver has some surface scratching from living in the drawer for so long but works perfectly. The rest of the items are in new condition and most have never been used.
