In my opinion you cannot ask for a better value than this one. It is extremely hard to find a lifetime activated Starmate 3…. They are nearly identical to the Starmate 4 but without that gold stickiness. This ST3 radio can last forever when property taken care of. This is a high-quality unit with a long lifespan. These are very well-made unit and better quality than most other Sirius / SiriusXM receivers out there. Lifetime “Sirius Select” Channel Activation. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, various sports, FOX & CNN channels, dozens of music stations and much more. There is 140+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels if the SiriusXM Music Package ever does so. For example, two channels were just added, Volume 106 and Garth Brooks 55. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. The channels are guaranteed to remain active and will never end, GUARANTEED. Starmate 3 Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in perfect working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. The exterior displays beautifully with only the slightest wear. This is in my opinion the best model of the entire Starmate line. Compared to future releases this has a solid hard shell without any type of rubber material like the ST4 & ST5 models. The rubber material usually ends up sticky and collecting dust while this remains solid and clean. The radio is competley clean and free of any dust. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works like new. The front side of the receiver only has only a few minor scuffs but nothing major whatsoever. The backside shell has a few minor scuff marks on the lower left edge caused from dock, but not noticeable when in use. The screen of receiver has a perfect working backlight with functional dimming and contrast settings. The screen light is vibrant and displays beautifully. This unit really is a treasure, this is actually a very rare model compared to others and is hard to find a “lifetime channel activated” receiver is in this good of condition! Included with the ST3 receiver is a complete vehicle kit with all the accessories needed to connect to your vehicle. Most of the vehicle kit accessories were never used other than testing. Everything is in clean condition and has been well taken care of. You can see from the pictures the overall ex+ shape of this set. The vehicle kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever.
