The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. Sirius Sportster SP-R1 Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in great condition all around. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works perfect. This radio includes the weaker “post-FCC” wireless FM transmitter. Not only does it work perfect but is in great cosmetic shape with only a few minor signs of previous use. There are a few minor scuff marks on screen / exterior but nothing major. When it is powered up and in use it looks great. The display light on screen is in fully functional condition with a bright and vibrant display. The screen has the ability to switch between orange & green lighting. Good option depending on if you are in a dark or bright room. The radio is has always been clean, but like all my items I have cleaned and sterilized all the components included for your convenience. Included with the SP-R1 receiver is a brand new factory sealed home kit. The packaging does just signs of wear and tear but nothing that affects the interior contents. All the contents are in new untouched condition. It is very simple and easy to setup, you will have the entire set connected in less than 10 minuntes. It does not need professional installation whatsoever. This set includes the original Sportster Remote Control. The RC is in clean condition and has been sterilized. All the function work perfect and can control every feature of the radio. The remote needs a new battery and that’s it. Using the RC is extremely convenient to change various preselect channels. Instead of having to turn knob on radio, all you do is save your presets and simply press that number on the remote. I can guarantee you will not be let down with this set.
