The exterior displays beautifully with only minor cosmetic wear. The radio is clean and free of any dust. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works like new. The sticker on backside has top right edge cut off but is not anything noticeable, I just like to describe as accurate as possible. This radio has the “post-FCC” wireless FM transmitter. There are a couple of scuffs on the screen but were caused during a move and not vehicle use. The scuffs are minor and not very noticeable unless looking at it under a bright light. When powered on and in use, you can barely notice it. That nothing major whatsoever. The screen and every button is properly lit by the blue light! I ncluded with the SP-R2 receiver is a brand new / complete vehicle kit. This set includes all the accessories needed to connect to your vehicles stereo system. All the contents are brand new in factory sealed retail package. Also included with the vehicle kit is an auxiliary wire for a direct connection to your stereo system. In my opinion this is the only way I would use the radio the FM transmitter simply does not stand up to the quality expected. The kit is very easy and simple to setup, you will have the entire set connected in less than 10 minuntes. It does not need professional installation whatsoever. This is complete with fully functional remote control. The remote currently has a newly installed battery. Remote is compatible with most of the older plug n play radio receivers like the Sportsters, Starmates and more. Using the RC is extremely convenient to change various preselect channels while driving. Instead of having to look down at receiver, all you do is save your presets and simply press that number on the remote. I can guarantee you will not be let down with this set.
