The RC is in perfect working condition and clean cosmetic shape. The remote can control all current functions of the radio. This radio is in excellent condition all around. It works perfect and is in excellent cosmetic condition. The unit was scarcely is and has been well taken care of/stored. When it was used, it remained indoors and never traveled. It has been cleaned and sterilized the radio and displays beautifully. The battery does work but does need to be replaced. It does not hold a charge longer than 20 mins or so using headphones. The Radio itself is in perfect working condition and will work perfectly on the home dock. Besides a couple of unnoticeable scuffs on screen there is no major cosmetic imperfections to mention. The battery is the only thing item not perfect and does need to be replaced if you plan on using it with a pair of antenna headphones. When using it off the dock it does power up and hold a charge for roughly 20 minutes using headphones. The battery does not cause any problems with this listing. Using the included home dock / kit, it will of course work perfect and no different than any other satellite radio! In my opinion the Stiletto 100 mode is the best portable Sirius radio made. The SL100 has a strong/durable body and a much better screen that does not scratch easily like the Stiletto 2. The Stiletto 2, is very fragile and is made of smudgable rubber material & with numerous software glitches. The Stiletto 100 quite possibly delivers the highest quality sound satellite radio has to offer! Honestly, you cannot ask for a better value than this one. Lifetime Activated “Sirius Select” Channel Package. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, various sports, FOX & CNN channels, dozens of music stations and much more. There is 140+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels when updates occur. For example, two channels were added this year; Volume 106 and Garth Brooks 55. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. Recently two highlights were added to the lineup; Faction Talk Channel 103 & The Beatles Channel 18, all Beatles all the time! Sirius Stiletto SL100 Portable Satellite Radio Receiver Condition. Included with the radio is a complete Stiletto Home Kit with it’s original retail package. All the contents are in good, clean condition and have been well taken care of. Many many satellite radio fans claim Stilettos used with a home kit provides the best possible sound quality in satellite radio. The home kit accessories have only very minor signs of wear but displays perfect. The dock unit itself is the only item that really has any visible signs of wear, with some minor scuffing but nothing major. The home kit is complete with the accessories needed to connect to your Home stereo system. The home kit includes a brand-new RCA Adaptor which you can connect to your large home stereo system or any other size speaker w/ RCA Inputs. This kit is very easy to setup and does not need any professional installation whatsoever. This set will hold it’s value especially because of the original retail package included. Here is a few tips to ensure your radio lasts a lifetime. Here are a few things to AVOID causing any software or activation problems. These are well known problems for these radios… In so many words keep the settings in their current state, don’t attempt to connect to computer. Do Not connect the radio to a computer for any reason. Sirius stop creating software updates years ago and would be arbitrary in the current day. Besides a small handful with logo, the others simply have channel name in text. DO NOT press Erase Settings / Library. This is the factory reset button and could. Do not use the “Schedule a Recording”. By using this schedule a recordig feature could cause a glitch which could deactivate the active channels. This is a glitch that has existed since 2014 when they updated the system software and has been known to deactivate active channels… It would be very rare for search to repair but the glitch is known to exist. You can turn on and use the “radio replays” which simply would be hours of content that is being listened to while using. You are purchasing the Sirius Reciever with the lifetime channel activation. You are not purchasing any type of account of lifetime subscription where you could use the radios ID number to create any Internet account. You cannot transfer the activation to any other receiver. “Lifetime Subscription” is Continuous active channels on this specific receiver until the reciever dies (if it ever does).
