There is 125+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels when available This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. For example recently and all Beatles music station has been added on channel #18! Sirius JVC KT-SR2000 Radio Receiver Condition. The receiver is in perfect working condition… Has very little amount of previous use. It is safe to say this radio has a full life span ahead of itself. Every function has been tested and works flawlessly. Cosmetically it is in great overall cosmetic shape. Besides some minor scuffing on the front screen there is nothing to complain about. Any of the scuff marks on screen are mainly a noticeable unless closely examined under Brightlight. You can view the scuffs in the 2nd to last photo. This radio has the Pre-FCC wireless FM transmitter. Although this radio starts with FM channel 88.1, it is the strong FM transmitter but I always recommend a direct connection. Please read entire description Nice color display, can’t seem to get the pictures to look any better. Used so does show some wear, nothing real bad, works good. I got this used and have had it over one year. Was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. Gets a lot of good music channels, pop rock country jazz blues, sports, news etc. If you are looking for a specific channel ask and I will check. Does “not” get Howard Stern. Will only get channels between 1 and 184. If you call Sirius they will cancel the subscription. Only includes the radio receiver without a battery, includes car power adapter and a AUX cable to plug it into your car radio which is all you need. If you want but they are not necessary. When you receive it all you need to do is hook it up and start enjoying Satellite radio. Pretty simple set up, easy to move from one vehicle to another. These have a built in antenna so the reception is sometimes not as good as the larger magnetic antennas that mount on the roof. If you are in a wooded area, power lines close by, overhead bridges etc. The signal can fade in and out, I just lay mine on the dash and it does pretty good. What you can do is record up to 100 hours so it will just play with no interruptions. My factory Sirius radio and antenna in my truck does the same thing sometimes. I cannot guarantee the subscription on this radio is going to last you for a lifetime. I keep them one year before I sell them. I get these at yard sales, thrift stores, flea markets etc. That being said if it works as stated when you receive it then you know as much about the radio and subscription as I do. SCC1 tuner used but working great. These are actual pictures of the item you will receive unlike many other sellers with stock pictures. Picture 2 is this actual SCC1, antenna and connector cable hooked up showing you it playing with the date in the top right corner. This is to give you peace of mind. Nobody wants that type of possible hassle. I didnt mind even though their difficulties always stemmed from an adapter I didnt sell them or their faulty install. I only want happy satisfied customers. DVD Player Only to Show Item is Functional. Tuner is NOT Activated but is playing both Howard Stern channels, most all the music, sports talk and normal talk channels. If there are certain channels you really are interested in message me and I can check. Note the Tuner’s ESN (serial) number is clean and and not tied to a subscription so you are still able to activate/transfer your own service instead if or when you so choose. There is no way to know or guarantee how long the free channels will last. I have some that been going over three years with free channels but I also have seen others where the free channels get updated away the first time it takes an update. Although these last 2 years, I dont recall a single time I had one update away even during free preview weeks. A couple of my stiletto handhelds have been playing free for over 7 years. I think the older the radio gets the more likely the channels are to stay. This one just went through an update and retained the channels so that is a good sign. I periodically will plug it in and let it play for awhile during the time I have it listed. THE FREE CHANNELS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. THEY CAN GO AWAY WITH AN UPDATE AT ANYTIME.
