Not only are the Jensen / Audiovox Shuttle radios manufactured of much higher quality but the a larger screen makes it much easier to read. Soon after this radio was made, Sirius continuously made all models to cut cost & meet then current demand of small vehicle friendly radios. I like to describe these as a cross between the original Sportster & Starmate models. This radio set is in top notch shape and includes a complete vehicle kit in great condition. Included with the radio receiver is a brand Audiovox Home kit (same radio /compatibility as he Jensen variation). All of the accessories are brand new and inside on open retail package. Other than the HomeKit, the only other accessories included is the Jensen remote control which only has the slightest amount, if not any previous use. This home kit includes every item you need to connect the radio to your home stereo system. The Jensen radio and remote control really are in / top notch (9/10) condition. In my opinion you cannot ask for a better value than this one. It is extremely hard to find a Jensen variant of the PNP2, never mind with lifetime activated condition AND complete with a new Home kit! Lifetime “Sirius Select” Channel Activation. The “Sirius Select” package on this Receiver includes Howard Stern, various sports, FOX & CNN channels, dozens of music stations and much more. There is 120+ channels on the lifetime package, with the ability to add/change compatible channels when updates occur. This activated lifetime subscription can only be used from this specific receiver and cannot be transferred. The unit has had multiple channel updates and will continue to do so when needed. The receiver is in top notch + condition all around. Not only does it work perfect but is in excellent cosmetic shape. All of the functions have been properly tested and everything works perfect. This one is the perfect addition to anyones home stereo system. It displays beautifully amongst other home electronics and has a larger/more legible text on screen. For one reason or another the PNP2 receives a MUCH stronger signal than any other radio I can think of…. And Im pretty sure I have experience with them all. Even when used in the middle of my house surrounded by walls I still received a consistent signal! It is in near mint cosmetic condition, you really cannot ask for much better cosmetic shape outside of any new package. This radio was hardly used, it was only previously used a small handful of time s and is an extremely rare f ind. Besides the lightest couple of scuff marks on front I cannot find any other imperfections to mention. Both the functional & cosmetic shape of this entire bundle really cannot get better! This radio was put into a closet around 2004 or 2005 and has been safely stored there sonce! This radio has the Pre-FCC Strong wireless FM transmitter. This unit really is a treasure. It is getting harder and harder to find reliable radios in good condition like this one. The radio is in CLEAN condition. It has always been in this shape, but like all my items I have cleaned and sterilized everything included for your convenience. Audiovox Home Kit Description. Included with the Jensen radio receiver is a brand new Audiovox Shuttle / PNP2 Home Kit. The Audiovox brand Home kit is essentially the same radio and has the same compatibility with this Jensen PNP variant. These accessories are specific to these 2 radio models only. The entire set is in in a brand new unopened package. The retail packaging has some minor shelfware including a few minor nicks along the plastic edges/ corners but nothing major. The plastic packaging is tightly sealed and everything has never been out. This set of course includes all the accessories needed to connect your Jensen radio to your home stereo system. It is very simple and easy to setup, you will have the entire set connected in less than 10 minuntes. It does not need professional installation whatsoever. The radio does have the strong wireless FM transmitter but I normally only recommend direct connection for best quality use. This kit includes the RCA adapter cable which makes everything quick, easy and best sound quality available. The set also includes the original JENSEN Remote Control! The RC is in fully functional condition with hardly any previous wear. This can control all functions of radio and is the most convenient accessory….
