Once you put the receiver all the way down securely into the dock it works perfectly. The problem with cutting on and off is when it shaken or moved around. So if you are looking for a lifetime activated receiver for home use only this would be a great deal at the price listed. Otherwise the receiver is in very Good condition for its age.
