I have had this for a few months, was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. It gets Howard Stern on channels 100 and 101. Nascar, NFL, rock, country, soul, jazz, blues, B. King, sports, news, Latino, comedy, christian, and many more channels between 1 and 184, about 145 total. You cannot add any channels, update or transfer the subscription. You do not want to call Sirius or they could cancel the subscription. Just plug it in and start enjoying satellite radio. Used so shows some wear, nothing real bad. Take care of it and it should last a long time. I only have the car dock but it will work in the car or home with the right antenna and power adapter. Includes receiver with car dock, you can get the home antenna, power adapter and audio cable for the home or car but not both, just let me know which. It is not a good idea to move these from the house to car a lot as you could start having problems with the connectors as they are pretty delicate. Includes a battery but it is used so no guarantee on the battery, may or may not hold a charge. If you only want the receiver or another piece just let me know if you make a offer.
