I have had this for a few months, was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. It gets Howard Stern on channels 100 and 101. Nascar, NFL, rock, country, soul, jazz, blues, B. King, sports, news, Latino, comedy, christian, and many more channels between 1 and 184, about 145 total. You cannot add any channels, update or transfer the subscription. You do not want to call Sirius or they could cancel the subscription. Just plug it in and start enjoying satellite radio. Used so shows some wear, nothing real bad. Take care of it and it should last a long time. I only have the car dock but it will work in the car or home with the right antenna and power adapter.
