I got this used and have had it for about 6 months. Was active when I got it, recently did a channel update and is still active. Gets Howard Stern on channels 100 and 101, news , Jazz , Pop , Christian , Country , Bluegrass , Comedy, Latino stations and many more music, sports and news channels, about 100 channels. Will only get channels between 1 and 184. If you call Sirius and try they could cancel the subscription. You can get the home kit if you rather have that but not both. It’s not a good idea to move these from the house to car and back all the time. The connections are delicate and will cause problems later on if you do. I record the SID number stored in the receiver memory. If you have a problem and need to return it you will need to return the same receiver with the same SID number. The radio SID number must display in the memory, not what is on back of the receiver. All you need to do is hook it up and start enjoying Satellite radio. Used with a bright display, may show a little wear but nothing bad. Take care of it and it should last a long time. If you only want the radio tuner and you make a offer please let me know.
